In general, The weather at Walt Disney World in March is very pleasant. If you live in the north and are looking for warmer temperatures toward the end of winter, central Florida is an ideal location. According to Weather Spark, the average high in Orlando for March is 77 and the average low is 59.

March is definitely the time when we start to see a departure from those cooler winter temperatures, but it is we are still far from summer weather. Cold weather may still set in – I was at Disney Wold in March on a year when morning lows were in the 40s. You may still experience a few warm days, so you’ll want to keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your trip. My advice is to pack for cooler and warmer days (basically, dress in layers).

Tips for Visiting Walt Disney World in March
Prepare for spring break crowds
March is when we start to see schools taking time off to spring break. The first few days of the first week of March are generally safe, but from around the second week you can expect to see crowds increase. From mid-to-late March, expect busier than average days at all theme parks.
The busiest crowds during spring break are usually concentrated around the Easter weekend. So some years March may not be the busiest spring break month, but you should still prepare for longer wait times and overall busier parks.

See Character Topiaries at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
In my opinion, The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is the prettiest of all EPCOT festivals. The floral arrangements and topiaries are stunning and worth taking the time to experience during your day at EPCOT. Topiaries are inspired by beloved Disney characters — see if you can find your favorite! There is usually one or two new topiaries that appear every year, which keeps things fresh and interesting.
